Thus they take responsibility for the safety and well being of all persons living in and visiting Covington County.

5 Arrest Made over the Weekend on Drug Charges

Deputies were busy this past weekend making 5 arrest for narcotics violations. Three (3) were arrested Friday night, one (1) Saturday night, and one (1) early Sunday morning.

*Arrested* Man Wanted for Murder in Seminary

In the early morning hours of 6/24/20 Deputies with the Covington County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a possible shooting that occurred in the Seminary area. The suspect Charles "Biloxi Gee/Biloxi George" Chevalier had left the scene in a darked colored Totoya RAV4 .
