5 Arrested over the Weekend on Drug Charges

Deputies with the Covington County Sheriff’s Office were busy this past weekend making 5 arrest for illegal narcotics.

Three individuals were arrested on Friday night after coming through a safety checkpoint near Mount Olive. Charles Powers, James Graves, and Gabrielle Yarbrough were arrested for Possession with Intent. Deputies located approximately 14 Grams of Methamphetamine in the vehicle. Powers is currently on Probation and Graves is currently on Parole with the Mississippi Department of Correction.

Saturday Night Deputies arrested Tina Hatley at another checkpoint near Seminary and located approximately 2 Grams as well as Marijuana.

Then early Sunday morning Deputies pulled over a vehicle near Mount Olive and arrested the passenger of the vehicle, Terrell Coleman, for Possession of Methamphetamine. Coleman was in possession of approximately 2 grams of Methamphetamine.
