Parolee Arrested for Abuse of a Vulnerable Adult

On 05/06/20 Investigators with the Sheriff’s Office arrested Willie Rankins for abuse of a vulnerable adult and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The arrest stemmed from an investigation that start a day earlier, this lead to an arrest warrant being issued for Rankins. During Rankins arrest a rifle was located which he is not allowed to possess because of a previous felony conviction.

Rankins is also currently on parole with the Mississipp Department of Corrections for Burglary.
